THE British father who was choked to death by a martial arts expert in a Thai hotel room desperately pleaded to his wife as he tried to fight off his killer with a butter knife. Amitpal Singh Bajaj begged his wife Bandhna to escape with their two-year-old son, Veer, as he became embroiled in a 4am brawl with his neighbour over a noise complaint. Mr Bajaj pleaded "please leave and save our son" as he fought off Norwegian bodyguard Roger Bullman over a confrontation which started when Bullman started singing opera on the hotel balcony. Bullman, 53, has since been charged with the manslaughter of Amitpal Singh Bajaj after launching a frenzied attack because the father from Southall, west London, confronted him for being too loud. Police in Bangkok say Bullman used his armed forces training to strangle Amitpal in his room in the Centara Grand Resort in Phuket where he was staying with his wife and young son.
